Automated Gift Wrapper

Designed and 3D modeled a device capable of autonomously wrapping gifts based on the gift size selected out of the three set options.

Conducted research, engineered and modeled theoretically functional cutting, gluing and wrapping mechanisms. Designed custom blades, actuators, conveyor belts, nozzles and folding arms in order to optimize the device's performance.

Ultrasonic sensors placed appropriately to allow for automation. Speakers and lights were added to provide audiovisual signals to operators/maintenance crew.
